People always say, "Love doesn’t hurt."

But sometimes it does. Love hurts when we fall in love with the wrong guy. And it hurts when we find ourselves in relationships filled with drama.

It's not easy to walk away from love, and sometimes it's hard to believe in love without pain. But we need to get better at abandoning hurtful relationships. We need to start believing in love without drama, and we need to start letting good guys love us.

This journey begins by sharing our stories with one another. Because in sharing the mistakes we've made and the lessons we've learned, we share in our knowledge, strength, and wisdom as women. This is the power of coming together.

Girl Talk

We all have a story.

My mission is to bring women together in order to share our stories, our questions, and our advice. GIRL TALK is a powerful way for us to connect, build trust, and find support. In sharing my story and the stories of other young women, I give girls the tools necessary to find real love, inside & out..

While I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, a Master's Degree in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University's world-renowned Strauss Institute, as well as a Juris Doctorate Degree from Pepperdine University’s School of Law, it is not my educational credentials which qualify me as an expert.

It is my own trials and triumphs in love that have provided me with the skills necessary to help other girls attain confidence and healthy relationships. I spent years dating drug dealers, gang members, rappers, and lazy potheads....I dated guys who cheated on me, guys who lied to me, and guys who constantly put me down and disrespected me. I didn’t have the confidence or support I needed to choose wisely in relationships. All I knew was dramatic love.

Eventually, I found my way through the drama. I developed strategies that proved successful in turning my love life around. I learned how to build my confidence, cure my addiction to "bad boys," and finally enjoy healthy relationships. But I learned the hard way, because I didn’t have the right "girl talk" to guide me through my tough decisions.

Thus I've made it my mission to ensure that all girls have the strategies and support necessary to find confidence and connectedness. I am determined to provide girls with somewhere to turn for advice and support. And I'm dedicated to sharing my journey in love – to prevent other young women from making the same mistakes I did. With real talk, girls gain confidence, trust, and love.

In coming together to share our stories, we gain invaluable wisdom and support. With GIRL TALK we all have the power to find love, inside & out.
